How tweet it is to be one
Twitter posts now officially outnumber the world population, or in other words, man has now been overtaken by the machines.
There are now more tweets, the 140-character-or-less posts on Twitter.com, than people in the world, according to one unofficial estimate.
Some 6.8 billion Twitter messages are currently in the blogosphere, according to Twitter tracking tool GigaTweet.
this figure compares to just under 6.8 billion residents of the globe as measured by the online World Population Clock.
